Frogg tinkered with the prototype psionic enhancer (and brainwasher) in the lair living-room. His room got too cluttered with all the other inventions and stuff he all ready had in there. It was still too stuffy for him, was an unusually warm day and he was working up a sweat.

Doktor Frogg threw himself into the trivial task Voltar burdened him with, spending hours and hours of wasted time in libraries, used book stores, and on the internet. Precious time that could have been better spent in the pursuit of world domination.
At first most of the literature on the subject was useless. A lot of drippy new-age twaddle designed to evoke soothing emotions and coddle the reader. An open mind is one thing, but open it too much and all of one's commonsense and judgment falls out.

Doktor Frogg struggled with the screwdriver as he tried to tighten a tiny screw into the casing of the remote control. Small instruments were more difficult to manage with the metal claws he used instead of fingers. As long as he worked slowly and cautiously he wouldn't have too much trouble. "Almost there..." he muttered to himself as the screw's head lowered flush with the plastic surface.
"Aren't you done yet?" a shrill voice pierced Frogg's concentration, startling him so that he fumbled, losing grip first of the screwdriver, then the remote, then both items tumbled from his artificial "hands" and landed on the
